We Care for YOU!

Community allows fellowship with others as a result of sharing common attitudes, interests and goals. One Community Church was founded on the belief that no one should ever have to walk alone; it is for this reason the Care Network was created. Our Care Network is a resource of pastors, counselors and volunteers whose priority is to walk with you through life’s experiences. Our goal is to show the love of God by participating in every season of life with you. Please allow us to take part in your joys and sorrows because we really care. Feel free to contact us by email at carenetwork@visitonecc.com or by phone at 469-854-9962 whenever needed.

Hospital Visitation

Praying for You

“Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.” James 5:14

Ministering Love and Compassion

Care Network is committed to ministering the love and compassion of Jesus Christ to individuals who are hospitalized. Our dedicated ministry leaders encourage and pray for those who are ill.

We ask that immediate family members notify us.

If you or someone you love would like to arrange a visitation, please contact us at carenetwork@visitonecc.com or 469.854.9962.

We would love to pray with you!

Benevolence

It is the purpose of our Benevolence Ministry to be able to offer help with either rent/mortgage or utilities to those regular church attendees, who have gone through our Growth Track process and who have also completed our Right Hand of Fellowship (RHOF).  Those who have completed the RHOF may be considered for financial assistance through our application process, which can take up to two weeks.

We require either a copy of your lease agreement/mortgage statement or a utility bill (whichever one you are seeking help with), and a color photo of your driver’s license.  Once those items have been received with your completed application, then everything will be reviewed by our Benevolence Ministry for consideration of financial assistance.

There are many factors that will be considered when an application is submitted, including:

    • Attendance at One Community Church.

    • Have we ever given you financial help before, and if yes, when?

    • Are you serving in a ministry here at One Community Church?

    • Are you in a Life Group here at One Community Church?

Please feel free to call us on 469-854-1280 if you have any questions.

Funerals

At the request of the family, we offer the following services during their time of bereavement:

  • Providing a minister to officiate at the service
  • Offering suggestions for the order of service
  • Offering a listening ear and a caring presence
  • Praying for members of our church family
  • Visiting the family and friends of the deceased
  • Greeting and welcoming friends and family members
  • Offering hospitality, comfort, and support during the funeral
  • Providing extended follow-up care after the funeral

We ask immediate family members notify us of your loss.

Baptism

Jesus said, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20) These instructions specify that the church is responsible to teach Jesus’ word, make disciples, and baptize those disciples. These things are to be done everywhere (“all nations”) until “the very end of the age.” We strongly believe as a church, that all believers are to follow the command of Christ and be baptized, as it signifies an outward sign of an inner transformation that has occurred in a Christian’s life. If you have questions or need more information, please contact us at baptism@visitonecc.com or 469-854-1280.
