for Christ when you don’t know the whole story? Equipping Center to the rescue! This class is geared toward helping you achieve a personal goal of knowing the major events of biblical history chronologically from Genesis to Malachi, in just six class sessions! Join in the fun as we study these events in community, which is the best way to learn! Don’t just read/memorize the story, become a storyteller!

Safe Conversations

Dates: February 10 – March 16
Mondays 7:00pm – 8:15pm

Proverbs 15:4 says, “A soothing tongue is a tree of life, but a perverse tongue crushed the spirit.” Colossians 4:6 instructs Christians to, “Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person.” Talking can be one of the most dangerous things we do. Christians grow in community but often conflict stunts that growth. Words do matter! This Safe Conversations workshop helps students to develop an effective communication skill that teaches them how to talk and listen to each other with mutual respect and real connection. The quality of relationships is inextricably linked to emotional, physical and spiritual well-being.

How to be transformed into the image of God/Spiritual life

Dates: February 10 – March 16
Mondays 7:00pm – 8:15pm

To the great gift of forgiveness God has added the gift of the Holy Spirit so that we can “fulfill every desire for goodness and the work of faith with power, in order that the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you” (2 Thess 1:11-12). It’s difficult to live a godly life in a material world. Living the Christian life should not be burdensome but rich and fulfilling as you follow hard after Jesus. This course is designed to help you recognize the work of the Holy Spirit in your life and to teach you how to cooperate with the divine plan to mold and shape you into the very image of Christ in order that you may live a victorious Christian life focused on glorifying God!
