Purpose
Everyone will come to a fork in the road, many times on their journey through life. Teenagers are no exception. Through Journey, our student ministry to junior and senior high students, we will partner with parents and equip students to make wise decisions at the forks in their spiritual journey.
These decisions will not only strengthen their devotion to Christ, but help them to influence their peers to pursue Christ as well. We want all students to gain the leadership skills and spiritual stamina needed to resist the peer pressures they are certain to face and to courageously pursue God’s plan for their lives.
We want every student to M.O.V.E. forward on their Journey through life! (Luke 2:52)
- Maturing in their walk with Christ through mentoring, small groups, Bible study, prayer (Colossians 1:10)
- Outreach/Evangelism locally, nationally, and internationally. (Acts 1:8) (Proverbs 11:30)
- Volunteering and serving in their area of giftedness. (1 Corinthians 12 / Romans 12)
- Every youth in a life group. (Eccl. 4:9-12)
