The church exists to bring glory to God. This may be expressed by assembling for prayer, practicing of the sacraments, encouraging one another, caring for the physical needs of others, and proclaiming the gospel. To accomplish this, leadership is necessary. In Acts 6:3, additional church leadership is selected to meet the needs of a growing church. At One Community Church, our elders are men, called by God, who are primarily responsible for the oversight of the church by praying for the sick and caring for the spiritual life of the body.
